We've been there! From living with trauma, health conditions and a detachment from our spiritual selves and a fuller life....All of this sparked a desire... to live well in mind & body & move forward. We connected with the Appalachia communities we love and discovered their wisdom, deepest needs & desires for harmony and better opportunities. We started Grow Well Appalachia and became a not-for-profit 501 (c)3 to work alongside our resilient neighbors providing low to no-cost wholistic health services/programs and helping others move forward by owning a car.
As a 501 (c)3 working in NC Appalachia communities, we bring together integrative health practitioners for wholistic wellness services/programs And create more opportunities through automobile ownership.
To support the local wellness industry through education/services And bridge a more prosperous road within Appalachia communities. Building a strong Mind~Body~Environment foundation that improves the quality of life for generations forward.
Connecting with Mother Nature & motorsports have been central themes in Gail's life. As a back country guide & ropes course facilitator, she partnered with corporate clients, adults and youth teaching team building, communication, survival skills and environmental awareness. She moved on to work with Fortune 500 clients, as a motorsports engineer and consultant in sustainability & clean tech.
Gail loves to volunteer in community. You can usually find her out in nature paddling, hiking & climbing trees; rooting for her sports teams or chomping on sweet potato fries.
Rebeca's passion for eco-friendly living and a no limits attitude was sparked by an early taste of adventure. She copiloted a plane, ran pro go-carts and surfed at a young age. She holds accounting & economics degrees and has worked for Deckers Brands; and CPA firm Wright Ford Young & Co.
During her spare time, she enjoys traveling, running & being a yogini. Rebeca strives to make a difference in her communities; volunteering with animal groups & supporting environmental causes. She has been called a crazy cat lady...and she's good with that.
